Ai4 is one of North America’s largest gatherings for applied artificial intelligence, held each summer in Las Vegas. The 2026 edition runs from August 4 to 6 at The Venetian and brings together enterprise leaders, engineers and founders who are past the “should we use AI” stage and are deciding what to deploy next.

What to expect

Ai4 is built around real deployments rather than academic research. The programme spans industry tracks such as healthcare, finance, manufacturing, energy, insurance, retail, legal and automotive, alongside functional tracks for CTOs, CFOs, data engineers, product leaders and security teams. Technical sessions cover the topics actually shaping roadmaps right now: AI agents, generative AI and retrieval-augmented generation, machine learning in production, edge AI, and the harder questions around AI policy, safety and alignment.

Who it is for

The audience skews heavily toward enterprise buyers and practitioners, which is exactly why it matters to founders. If you sell AI or SaaS into industry, few events put this many decision-makers with live budgets in one room. It is less useful if you are after pure research or academic depth; Ai4 is where models meet procurement.

Why attend

Recent editions have drawn headline names from the field, including Geoffrey Hinton, Fei-Fei Li and Andrew Ng, but the real value sits in the tracks and the hallway conversations with teams who are actively shortlisting vendors. For an early-stage AI or SaaS company, a focused two or three days here can compress months of enterprise pipeline work into a single week.

Good to know

Ai4 is produced by CloserStill Ai4 and takes place in person in Las Vegas over three days in early August. Expect a large expo floor, a dense parallel-track agenda and a dedicated startup presence for younger companies. Check the official site for the current programme, speaker list and registration details.

Our take

For a European founder, Ai4 earns the trip mainly if the United States is a target market: the value is the concentration of American enterprise buyers, not the keynotes. Go with a clear list of the teams you want to meet, and treat the sessions as background rather than the reason to fly.
