CES is the world’s largest technology trade show, and increasingly an AI hardware show. It fills Las Vegas each January with well over a hundred thousand attendees and thousands of exhibitors.
What to expect
Organized by the Consumer Technology Association, CES spans devices, mobility, robotics, health tech and the smart home, along with the chips and models behind them. Eureka Park hosts a large startup contingent. Recent editions have been dominated by AI woven into hardware across almost every category.
Who it is for
Companies whose product touches devices, mobility, the smart home or physical AI, plus anyone reading the consumer-tech tea leaves. It is less useful for pure software or B2B SaaS with no hardware angle.
Why attend
Nowhere else shows the state of applied, shipped technology at this scale in a single week; it is a strong signal-gathering trip even if you never exhibit.
Good to know
Held in early January at the Las Vegas Convention Center and venues across the city, in person. Expect enormous crowds, long walks and a packed schedule. Check the official site for the programme and exhibitor details.

Our take
For most AI and SaaS founders CES is a scouting trip, not a selling one. Go to see where hardware and AI are heading, not to fill your pipeline.
