DataBahn announced the round on July 30, 2026. Insight Partners led, with existing investors Forgepoint, GTM Capital and S3 Ventures participating. Total funding now stands at 59 million dollars. The company, led by co-founder and CEO Nanda Santhana, builds what it calls an agentic data control plane: AI agents that decide which security and machine data should flow to which destination, in which format and at what cost, instead of routing every log into expensive analytics platforms. The new capital is earmarked for research and development and for extending the platform beyond the largest enterprises.
Traction: Fortune 100 customers, 180 percent net revenue retention and a 97 percent proof of concept win rate
The traction metrics in the announcement are unusually specific. Besides 400 percent revenue growth and 180 percent net revenue retention, DataBahn reports zero customer churn and a 97 percent win rate in proof of concept engagements. Customers include Fortune 100 companies in healthcare, financial services, manufacturing and transportation. Two customers go on record: MVB Bank, through CISO Parrish Gunnels, and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, through lead security architect Ricardo Henry. These figures are company statements and have not been independently audited, but naming referenceable enterprise customers makes them easier to check than most.
Market development: data pipeline management becomes an AI battleground
Enterprises pay analytics and SIEM vendors largely by data volume, and telemetry volumes keep climbing as AI workloads multiply. That makes the pipeline layer between data sources and analytics platforms commercially attractive: Cribl passed 300 million dollars in ARR in this market earlier this year, and DataBahn’s pitch is that agentic automation, rather than rules written by engineers, is the next step. Santhana frames it as infrastructure built around orchestrating the right data at the right time instead of simply moving more data.
