An agentic AI deployment at India’s Suryoday Small Finance Bank is moving beyond generic assistants into account opening, compliance, fraud investigation and MSME lending. The opportunity for smaller fintech companies is not to reproduce the bank’s enterprise-wide project, but to productise one regulated workflow that regional banks and non-bank lenders can adopt without building their own AI centre of excellence.
