New GovRAMP Route Lowers the Barrier for SaaS Companies Selling to Government
GovRAMP has introduced an Accelerator Partner Program that allows technology providers to use authorised infrastructure and reusable security controls while pursuing their own GovRAMP listing. For smaller AI and SaaS vendors, this attacks one of the least glamorous but most important barriers to public-sector sales: the cost and complexity of proving that a cloud product meets government security requirements.
