The Bellevue-based software company announced the appointments on July 17, 2026. Anand Subbaraman, who joined Icertis in 2024 to accelerate AI innovation and scale operations, will move into an advisory role during the transition.
The central development is a dual interim leadership structure. Bahri will combine the co-CEO and CFO roles, while Moffatt will serve as co-CEO and chair of the board. Icertis said its board has engaged an executive search firm to identify the next permanent CEO.
15 billion dollars of consulting revenue anchors Moffatt’s operating record
Moffatt has served on the Icertis board since 2022 and previously sat on its advisory board. He spent more than 35 years at Deloitte and served as global CEO of Deloitte Consulting. Icertis said the consulting business reached 15 billion dollars in revenue under his leadership and doubled during his tenure.
Bahri joined Icertis as CFO in 2022. His previous roles include CFO positions at ID.me, Wish, Jasper Technologies and Trimble Navigation. At Wish, he helped lead the company through its initial public offering, while Jasper Technologies was acquired by Cisco after his time as CFO. The combination gives Icertis one interim leader focused on financial execution and another with experience running a large professional services organization.
AI-native contracting raises the execution stakes for leadership
Icertis positions its Vera platform as an enterprise contract intelligence layer that connects agreements, data and business systems. The company’s stated direction is to move contract management toward AI-supported execution across legal, procurement, finance, sales and technology workflows.
The transition therefore occurs while Icertis is developing its autonomous contracting strategy and maintaining relationships with enterprise customers, consulting firms and technology partners. The company lists Accenture, PwC, Deloitte and KPMG among its systems integration partners, and SAP, Microsoft and Salesforce among its technology partners.
